I sat down with owner & talented designer Laura Stucki of Moses Grace shoes. I was blown away with her expertise and knowledge of the shoe making process. This was something I was eager to learn about since I was shoe obsessed all of my life. I really cannot believe how much effort and how difficult a process it is to design a shoe from start to finish.
The Moses Grace brand emerged from a devotion to high caliber European fashion/styling and Laura had a desire to bring those couture quality items to the forefront again. Her family had owned a Internationally famous couture millinery showroom and factory on 5th Ave in NYC, which led Laura into growing a company in the luxury industry. After getting an education in Texas and Washington State, Stucki began her studies in NYC learning everything from pattern-making to leather selection to sewing & lasting. Stucki learned the trade inside out.
Laura believes that customers who pay a prestige price deserve a product that is prestigious, not only in make but in form, function, aesthetics using traditional methods as well as high technological advances. Moses Grace shoes are made custom for her clients on the island of Ischia, Amalfi coastline and the Island of Procida.
I received my first pair not long ago from her very first collection and I was blown away by the style, comfort & design of the shoe. I loved the fact that it looks completley different from everything else on the market right now. Moses Grace shoes are unique, chic and the quality of workmanship is unsurpassed. When you put them on you immediately feel like a boss lady!
The collection will retail from $960 -$1300 launching late fall 2019 and can be ordered at http://www.mosesgrace.com Follow them on instagram @ MosesGrace
